Contest submissions may be made by legal residents of Texas, who are affiliated with a high school music program and an official representative of the DESIGNATED HIGH SCHOOL. SCHOOL’S ELIGIBILITY TO PARTICIPATEGENERAL- Open enrollment charter high schools and public high schools, of a school district that is a member of the UIL and eligible to participate in UIL competition are eligible to participate. SPECIAL SCHOOL- Schools whose students are primarily ones enrolled in the school because of physical, sensory or mental disabilities, yet are eligible to participate in a minimum of one UIL competition are eligible to participate PRIVATE SCHOOL- Texas non-public school with membership in TMEA, UIL or an association recognized by the Texas Private School Accreditation Commission (TEPSAC) to accredit non-public schools are eligible to participate. REHABILITATIVE SCHOOLS- A school whose students are primarily ones enrolled in the school as part of a process of rehabilitation for law violation are not eligible to participate. Sponsor.
